Ultrasound

An ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure that uses high frequency sound waves. During the procedure, an ultrasound transducer that produces these sound waves is used.

Biopsy

An Ultrasound-guided needle biopsy is a diagnostic imaging test to examine a sample of a lesion or mass.

XRay

Xray is one of the most common diagnostic tests; it is a quick, easy and painless test. This provides us with a digital image of the internal composition of the specified body part.

Vascular

This ultrasound is used to examine blood flow in arteries and vein and includes Carotid Doppler, Arterial Doppler of the Extremities (Arms and Legs) and Venous Doppler of the Extremities (Arms and Legs).

Echocardiography

An echocardiogram (ECHO) is an ultrasound of the heart where the walls, valves of the heart, and blood flow are examined.

Mammography

A mammogram is a specific type of breast imaging that uses low dose xray to examine the breast tissue. It is a diagnostic test used to detect early cancers in patients with symptoms or diagnose breast disease in patients with symptoms such as a lump, pain, nipple discharge.

Bone Mineral Density

BMD is a very low dose x-ray used to assess dense your bones are. It is used to diagnose osteoporosis and also to evaluate how the treatment of osteoporosis is progressing.

Sonohysterogram

A sonohysterogram is a short, minimally invasive imaging study of the uterus and fallopian tubes. The study is used to diagnose the cause of underlying pelvic pain, irregular vaginal bleeding, miscarriages and infertility.

Fertility Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a very important tool in the investigation, monitoring or treatment of fertility. For the past 18 years, HVI have been providing fertility ultrasound assessments and monitoring to a number of fertility organizations. Our fertility sonographers have dedicated training in this specialized ultrasound.
